weight problems i need to lose it please help?

Question by Ella: weight problems i need to lose it please help? okay... im right handed and have a rotater cuff injury on my right (FLIPPIN FUN! NOT!) as well as a back injury i am exremely over weight and always have been well pretty much always have been the females in my family theres always been a little extra to love but its sooo hard i just want to be skinny so i have an eating disorder basicly ' an undiagnosable eating disorder' so it really screws me up but im going to school everyday now so plus plus to my eating issues but the big issue for me is healthy food is expensive i eat healthy mostly like our beef and pork lean oor extra lean but for ground meat we tend to eat more ground turkey as its healthier i eat a fair amount of vegatables (not as mch as i should though) i eat alot of fruit and we dont buy froot loops and lucky charms crap like that.... my junk cerial is multigrain life. my day goes like this.. wake up 8.00ish eat cerial or multigrain bread with low fat peanut butter and sometimes jam or honey i usually eat half my lunch about 11.30 then the rest at 3.30 which is a carrot a sandwich(usually lunch meat low fat cheese and veggies) a peaice fruit or twosometimes i get a granola bar then i eat supper at about 6.30 always vegatables some kind of meat noodles or potatoes if i am really hungry i have a peice of fruit or a handfull of cerial at about eight if we had an early dinner and go to bed around 11 get to sleep about 3-4 i dont sleep well i have sleep problems too so... i also walk a km to and from school everyday i do yoga quite often as well as pilates the issue with excersize is i cant really afford to go to the gym all the time and there is no where for me to run also where i live the weather is really bad for my asthma so do you have any ideas on how i can lose weight? as well do you know if in canada there is a 'healthy' kids program kind of thing that they could help pay for an organized sport or a gym pass or something? thank you ps im 13

It sounds like you're on the right track! And good for you for trying to make healthier choices. My suggestion would be to go to your family physician. He/she can help you figure out if you need to alter your exercise and diet more and what genetic factors you may be up against. As far as getting into a gym talk to your parent(s) or guardians first and start making phone calls to find out what places in your area offer. In this economy, many gyms may be willing to work out discounts, etc. But first things first. See your doctor.
